About Us
La Maternelle French Academy
Established in 2008, La Maternelle French Academy is a Houston-based daycare inspired by the French preschool model. Our programs begin at 6 weeks of age and offer a full French language immersion environment. English is introduced at age 4 (Pre-K), and in Kindergarten, students receive one hour of English instruction daily. We follow the guidelines and curriculum established by the French Ministry of Education, which apply to the French school system beginning at age 3.

Acquire language
At La Maternelle French Academy, children are fully immersed in the French language. Through engaging play, interactive activities, and guided learning, they naturally develop their language skills. Our immersion approach allows children to become confident French speakers while fostering cognitive development and cultural awareness.
Discover Writing
Children explore their creativity and self-expression through fun writing activities in French. These activities foster early literacy and storytelling skills, helping children develop a strong foundation in the language.
Through engaging and age-appropriate exercises, children learn to enjoy writing while building essential French language skills.

Through movement and play, children develop essential motor skills while learning to express themselves in French and communicate effectively with others.
Physical activities not only enhance coordination but also create opportunities for children to practice language in a natural and engaging way, fostering both their physical and linguistic growth.
