First off, a huge thank you for making our Halloween celebration such a blast! 🎉 We had an amazing array of costumes, from magical princesses to brave heroes, that truly brought our school to life. November is here, and while the temperatures might be dropping, we’re keeping the warmth alive with cozy treats! Get ready for delicious pumpkin pies 🥧, hearty soups 🍲, roasted chestnuts 🌰, and gooey raclette 🧀 as we gear up for Thanksgiving!

Relaxed Education Week
During Thanksgiving week (November 25-26), we’ll shift gears to a relaxed education schedule! This means more play and fun for the kids—perfect if you’re taking some time off. Remember, we’ll have an early release on Wednesday, November 27th at 12:30 PM and we will be on Thanksgiving break on November 28 & 29. Class will resume on Monday, December 2.
Layer Up for Houston’s Weather
With Houston’s ever-changing weather, the secret to surviving chilly mornings and warm afternoons is… layers! We’ll head outside for recess every day unless it’s pouring or freezing, so please label all your child’s clothes—this makes it easier to reunite them with any misplaced items.
Also, why not turn this into a fun activity? Have your child choose their favorite layers for school each morning—let’s make getting dressed a creative experience!
Health Reminder
Flu season is upon us! Please keep a close eye on your little ones’ health. Unfortunately, we can’t care for children who have a fever or severe runny noses/coughs, no matter how adorable they are! To help combat those sniffles, we encourage everyone to wash their hands frequently and practice good hygiene habits.
